We operate a zero tolerance approach to abusive behaviour and will delete any such comments towards our staff or others. Frequent and deliberately misleading comments will also result in Scottish Forestry reviewing a person’s access to our channels.
Examples where posts might be deleted or result in an account being removed:
- Comments that share harmful or misleading information about the activities of Scottish Forestry or its staff.
- Comments that include name-calling, abuse or the sharing of personal information.
- Comments unrelated to the original post, especially instances where unrelated comments are repeatedly posted.
- Spam - please don’t sell commercial products or services.
- Any accounts which falsely claim to represent a person or organisation.
- Any posts that incite racial hatred or any other personal characteristics, including religion, gender, nationality or sexuality.
