How we deliver functions and services Scottish Forestry leads the delivery of policy, regulation, and support for Scotland’s forests, ensuring sustainable woodland management. How we make decisions Our Executive Board and other key groups work together to ensure aligned decision making against agreed programmes of work. What we spend We publish information on expenditure in a transparent manner, in line with the Public Services Reform Act. How we manage our human, physical and information sources We've a service level (SLA) agreement in place with the Scottish Government agency, Forestry and Land Scotland – our sister agency. How we procure goods and services from external providers In line with Scottish Government policy, Scottish Forestry advertises all contracts on the Public Contract Scotland (PCS) portal. Our guiding legislation We were formed in April 2019 when the new Forestry and Land Management (Scotland) Act 2018 came into force.
