This note can be used as an aid by applicants and their advisers when deciding on which category their land falls into (arable/improved or unimproved) when considering an application under the SFGS: Farmland Premium (FP) and/or SFGS: Locational Premium. The references for this assessment will be IACS data sheets, agri-environment scheme audits or the applicant’s own cropping records.
