The plan allows for the agreement of planned felling and restocking during the life of the plan.
It identifies management objectives and allows for the gradual improvement of the woodland.
When do I need a Long Term Forest Plan?
If your woodland is 100 hectares or more, you will need an approved LTFP to be eligible for grants within the Forestry Grant Scheme (FGS).
If your woodland is under 100 hectares, you should prepare a Management Plan instead.
